If you didn't bring your own gear, don't worry, the park offers rentals!

Meeks Bay Trail

Meeks Bay features a pristine white sand beach that's perfect for lounging lakeside. The water also remains shallow for a long way out, making this a great spot for families. This beach can get pretty crowded in the summer, so it's important to plan ahead.

Sugar Pine State Park

Carnelian Bay

Carnelian Bay is a popular, picturesque spot which was once famous for something besides its postcard beauty. Back in the 1930s and 1940s, this was a major destination for boat racing! Today, it's a great spot for fishing, paddleboarding, and all sorts of other activities.

Kings Beach

Kings Beach is one of the warmest beaches on the lakeshore, so if you're wary of the chilly alpine waters, this is the spot for you! The recreation area also features a playground and a basketball court, and there are plenty of well-shaded picnic tables here as well. It's got a little something for everyone.

Club Cal-Neva Casino

Admission Not Included

Logan Shoals Vista Trail

Logan Shoals is hands down one of the best vistas of Lake Tahoe. It rises 300 feet above the lake, offering panoramic views of the water and the lush greenery all around. There's a reason this is a hugely popular wedding spot!

It was great to go at our own pace, stop where we wanted, leave as we needed and learn more about the lake. It was acgreat experience

For first time visitors to Lake Tahoe like us, this couldn’t have been a better find. The audio tour is perfectly descriptive with well timed insights into the lake’s history. The narration is soothing, the gps integration was seamless and we got to see way more spots than we would have discovered otherwise. Can’t wait to discover more of these audio tours for our next vacation!

The Godfather 2 house. Easy directions and go at your own pace. We loved that you could stop whenever you wanted to.

Great little tour around the lake, well worth the money we spent! First time doing a self guided tour and I'm glad we did it.

Very nice, made the trip fun. Just the right amount of information. Easy to manuever thru the screens, everyone in the car enjoyed the discussion. Thank you

Very interesting and informative self drive. Well constructed. It was great to be able and pull off then continue our tour

The views were outstanding! I really appreciated learning a little about the history, and especially appreciated notes about where to stop and look. Took about 3 hours with a few stops.

Loved the narrators voice. Short, informative blurbs every few minutes automatically played as we entered an area. Some parts seemed off GOS a bit but it don’t affect our experience. Love that you can stop and explore along the way.

Nice ride along path. Unfortunately, most places were closed for the season and I did not get to see much. The views were amazing, some of the ride scary. Overall it was an amazing day.

I loved the tour! Not only was it a good source of information, but it also guided as to where to go. It directed me to popular places I might be interested in visiting, and it was like being with a friend who knows the area! I highly recommend, especially in a new place where you don’t know where to start. I will buy these tours wherever I go, from now on …
