    A very entertaining and informative walking tour of Honfleur. Pierre was a great tour guide - quite the entertainer! It was nice to learn the history behind the town, especially how it was named.

    Our guide was like a standup comedian. He had a great sense of humor in combination with a vast knowledge of history and culture. The tour was high above expectations and the guide gave us many new insights into the beautiful town of Honfleur.

    We were very fortunate to have Mark B take the family on the guided walking tour of Honfleur. Its picturesque harbour was the standout. In Honfleur, we saw two churches - first Saint Leonard Church and then Eglise Sainte Catherine Church. The latter is the largest wooden church in France. The clock tower was built separately so as to protect it. Another place full of history. It is so amazing that we returned the next day to soak up the atmosphere, have lunch by the harbour, and do a little retail therapy. There are a number of beautiful shops and galleries to explore.

    Saint Catherine's Church

    The astonishing double-roofed Sainte-Catherine church dates back to the 15th century. The interior consists of twin naves and two aisles. Each nave is covered with a wooden vault with visible frame supported by oak pillars, in the form of an inverted hull.
