What to expect
Saint Catherine's Church
The astonishing double-roofed Sainte-Catherine church dates back to the 15th century. The interior consists of twin naves and two aisles. Each nave is covered with a wooden vault with visible frame supported by oak pillars, in the form of an inverted hull.
Le Vieux Bassin
The exceptional site of the Vieux-Bassin, in the heart of the city, and the narrow and tall houses that surround it.
Lieutenance d' Honfleur
The Lieutenancy and the Porte de Caen, vestiges of the fortifications.
Greniers a sel de Honfleur
Three salt lodges were used to store salt for the cod fishery on the banks of Newfoundland.
