This was an incredible start to my weekend! I went on the tour with my sister today and we loved Steph's infectious enthusiasm and knowledge for her subject. Steph told the stories of the female painters we explored in such a captivating way, it was hard not to want to become both the best friend of these historic female painter's and Steph's! I learnt a huge amount and the tour has left me hungry to learn more about women in art. Steph made some great reading recommendations which I am keen to follow up on. An amazing way to celebrate the week of International Women's Day.

I loved the way Becky was able to explain everything throughout the museum making it easier to understand what we were seeing since we didn’t have audio guides. She’s super sweet and fun made everyone feel comfortable in a new country.

I have been meaning to write this review for ages but did not forget as the Women in Art tour was such good value and so interesting. We were still quite restricted when Charlotte took me around the National Gallery, and it turned out I was the only one who had booked. Never once did she fail to shine in her sharing of her knowledge and love for the subject. Charlotte really is the best guide, very informative, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable. I got far more out of it than I had expected, and whether you are interested in women’s history or not, this tour will help you appreciate the artwork so much more. I highly recommend it.

Excellent, passionate and knowledgeable guide! However, we didn’t receive an email with joining instructions. We waited inside the main entrance by the ticket office but the guide was waiting outside. The front of house staff didn’t know anything about the tour and couldn’t help. We had to contact your live chat to track the group down, by which time my husband had lost patience and gone off to get a coffee. Shame because he missed an excellent tour. .

I highly recommend this tour, Steph, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining, she covered the works and also the life/social condition of women artists we looked at. She also covered some of the important artists that are not collected by the NG but that need mentioning in the period we covered, we also discussed the future of women artists (things are getting better!). It was extremely interesting and I will definitely try another of their tours - women of Bloomsbury looks good!
