Perfect hotel, great location, nice neighborhood. Compact but clean, beautiful rooms. Lovely breakfast room, nice bar, lovely high tea area. We had a wonderful stay, and the staff was super friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to London!

On arrival at the hotel there were a lot of people waiting in the Reception area. It was 14.25 pm when I arrived. I checked in and the Receptionist told me I had got a 15 minute wait. I explained that that was not possible as I had been delayed on the train and I was going to The Albert Hall for a performance which started at 15.15 pm. She said the rooms were being inspected but she rang and spoke to someone. I sat down and 5 minutes later a lady came over and a guy showed me to our room. The reason for the lateness was clear to see as they were still cleaning the rooms on the 3rd floor and I nearly tripped over a vacuum cleaner as I turned left to go into Room 315. I have never been in a hotel room before where I have had to walk sidewards at the bottom of the bed and then sidewards again because the cabinet was too big for the room. The radiator was far too hot. Room service was very good and most staff were very pleasant. Location was good for The Albert Hall. Would I return ... probably not.
