I think it's fair for the price in Sydney, but you can't compare it to other cities. The building is very old, but it's quiet and reasonably comfortable. The only things they don't provide are toothbrushes and tissues. The shampoo didn't suit me. It's conveniently located 10 minutes from the station, and 5 minutes from the supermarket, Daiso, and liquor store. Breakfast and coffee are free, there's water on the server, and you can just buy anything you want at the supermarket the day before and put it in the fridge.

The room I was given was minimalist. It didn't even have a wardrobe. However, it did have a refrigerator, microwave, and iron. The white lighting wasn't anything special either. The air conditioning was too strong and there was no way to adjust it. Although it was hot outside, you had to bundle up to sleep. The bathroom was tiny, and to make matters worse, getting in or out of the shower required some serious contortion because the door opened outwards. A sliding door would have made more sense, given the size of the bathroom. The hotel doesn't offer many services, but in the morning they have a very limited breakfast in the lobby. You can also use the coffee maker throughout the rest of the day. The location is quite central, considering Sydney is a city of over five million inhabitants. The area is quite busy, and you can take a long walk along lively streets to the Opera House. In any case, many buses and trams pass nearby. The central station is a 10-minute walk away, which is very convenient for getting to/from the airport.
