I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Bell Centre for a concert (less than a 30-minute walk). It's well located, close to many amenities (restaurants, convenience stores, activities, etc.). The room was basic and had a sink (the bathrooms were shared with other guests). The room was very well heated (perhaps a little too much, as it made the air dry, and I was even hot all night). The room's cleanliness was acceptable; however, the bathrooms, which included showers, could use a good cleaning and maintenance. Although towels and soap were provided in our room, we decided not to use the showers due to their lack of cleanliness. The breakfast included in the room price was simple but perfectly adequate. It was a continental breakfast where guests served themselves (toast, fruit, cereal, along with coffee, milk, tea, and orange juice). The price was very affordable for one night. The service at reception was very friendly. I don't think I'll go back because of the state of the bathrooms.

⛔️🚫The worst hotel experience of my life. The hotel is old but livable; however, maintenance is poor and cleaning is nonexistent. From the bathroom to the floor and bed, the cleaning conditions are terrible. Given the state of cleanliness, this place should not be open to the public. It's a public health hazard! ... The breakfast leaves much to be desired, as it is quite limited and there aren't enough dishes for the guests. This hotel manages to have guests because, like me, we made the reservation and payment online, and when we arrived at the hotel, we couldn't cancel because the payment was non-refundable. A real shame, considering the location is undoubtedly fantastic! The displeasure and disappointment are quite visible on the guests' faces!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! "I had to buy a set of sheets so i can sleep and both cleaning products to clean the bathroom!"

Whole building is on a slant, The floors are extremely Rickety, everything smells like smoke even though there’s a no smoking policy, the rooms are nothing like the pictures. This hotel was so bad we packed and left after 6 minutes. Paintings aren’t even hung straight and the walls have writing all over them, the doors hardly close properly. The whole building needs heavy maintenance.
