Very clean hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. We were able to check in early, which was much appreciated. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. I also loved the flattering lighting options in the bathroom; made makeup application so much easier, which is rare in hotels (iykyk). Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I stayed at the AC Hotel San Jose Santa Clara for two nights in mid-June. I’ve stayed at this property several times before and have always had positive experiences with both the staff and the hotel, which makes this situation especially disappointing. As with my previous stays, the room was booked on my behalf. Unfortunately, an incorrect rate code was applied. I flagged this issue directly with hotel staff at checkout, and my information was taken down so the rate could be corrected. It was the night of the AC/DC concert, and the hotel was understandably very busy at checkout, so I initially assumed the delay was due to that. However, despite multiple follow-ups over the summer, including calls and emails, the issue still hasn’t been resolved. I’ve been patient and tried to handle this directly with the hotel, but I haven’t received any return calls or meaningful updates. As a Marriott Gold Elite member, I expected better communication and follow-through, especially given that this was something identified and acknowledged at checkout. It’s unfortunate that I’ve had to resort to leaving a review to get attention on an unresolved billing issue. I’ve genuinely liked this hotel in the past and hope management will reach out to resolve this matter, as I’d like to continue staying here in the future.
