Accra City Hotel

I recently spent a week at Accra City Hotel, not as a guest, but attending a professional training event with my colleagues. Since I was accommodated elsewhere, my perspective is focused on the venue’s suitability for business and day-use facilities. Let’s start with the atmosphere & facilities. The lobby is impressive; very modern with sufficient, comfortable seating that works as a waiting area or for quick team syncs. The entire hotel maintains a calm, clean, and professional atmosphere. I noticed a lovely art gallery on-site with pieces available for purchase; it adds a nice cultural touch to the professional environment. Next, the professional amenities. I found the WiFi to be fast and reliable, which was critical for our training sessions. They have dedicated, well-maintained restrooms for males, females, and people with disabilities. They were consistently clean throughout the week. The pool looked clean and inviting, though it was barricaded during our training hours (9 am – 4 pm). The catering was a definite highlight. Both breakfast and lunch offered a wide variety of options. The food was consistently fresh and well-seasoned; having a diverse collection of dishes to choose from made the daily catering something to look forward to. For business teams, I would say the serene and professional environment provided exactly the right 'vibe' for a focused training week. The staff were professional and the logistics was satisfactory. Tip: If you are organizing a corporate event here, the serene environment is perfect for high-concentration tasks. Also, take a moment to walk through the art gallery during your coffee breaks; it's a great mental reset!

We had such a great experience staying at the hotel with RSA’s U20 National Team. The hotel is centrally located, beautiful, staff is professional and always willing to assist, the chef was very accommodating as we required a special menu for the soccer athletes. Worth mentioning is Prince from the front desk; great service 👌🏾
