Adi Bisma Inn

Adi Bisma is quite centrally located, which is generally convenient, even if it sometimes makes the journeys a bit longer. The small path to the hotel itself, however, is muddy and very bumpy. For novice motorcyclists, this path is definitely a challenge. It was a bit unpleasant for me at first, but you get used to it quickly. During my stay, it rained on and off, making the path even muddier and creating large puddles – you really had to be careful. There was also construction going on, which occasionally caused some noise. I would have appreciated a little more assistance at check-in and check-out. Unfortunately, I wasn't helped with my luggage, which made the beginning and end of my stay a bit stressful. The swimming pool was right outside my room. I didn't use it myself, but there were often children and other guests there, which was naturally a bit noisy. Personally, I didn't find it too bothersome, as I wasn't in my room that often anyway. The internet connection was very good and reliable for working online – a definite plus. If you need anything, you can always contact the staff. Overall, contact was minimal, but the team was always friendly and helpful when you approached them. The rooms were generally clean, although the walls were dusty and visibly neglected. I especially loved the location surrounded by nature: you're truly enveloped by jungle and fields, which gives the place a special charm. All in all, Adi Bisma is an idyllic spot in the countryside with friendly staff and good internet.

I don't usually leave bad reviews because I research a lot before booking, and I'm always happy with the places I go, but in this case, the little I found about this place doesn't match what I expected. It has a lot of potential, but the photos are nicer than it looks in person. First, it's not in a good location, the place needs maintenance, and the entrance isn't well signposted. To get to the entrance, you have to walk quite a way down a hallway, and if it rains, as it did when I stayed, it floods and is muddy; I slipped several times. The only good thing was the view from the room, but if you have leg pain, as I did (from doing a lot of yoga), you have to go up and down a lot of stairs to get there. But it was worth it, and the view while having breakfast was the best part. And the pool is very nice (I tried to upload photos, but it won't let me).
