Wirloch nice clean hotel including kitchen, refrigerator, stove, washing machine etc.

First of all, I have to say that the bed was unfortunately extremely uncomfortable. It was incredibly hard, and you could feel the metal springs. We had a king-size bed, and even then, it was too short for my partner (1.87m). We asked for a mattress topper or a different room with a more comfortable bed. We were told all the beds were the same. They said they would ask us about a topper. Well, what we got were two more (very thin) blankets to use as a base. Of course, that didn't help at all. The bed was a huge disappointment. As an apology, we received two bathrobes free of charge, which normally cost €5… We also had a bad experience with the elevators, as you sometimes have to wait a very long time for one to arrive. One elevator was also out of order for the entire five days of our stay… The bathroom fan can't be turned off and is very loud. It's not suitable for people with sensitive hearing. The worst part was that when we arrived in our room, we found many clipped toenails on the floor next to the bed. 🤢 We were absolutely disgusted. Apparently, the room hadn't even been vacuumed! The tables were dusty, too. I had the impression the room hadn't been used for weeks. The cleaning staff finally came within an hour and vacuumed again. I'm also very disappointed that the rooms are only cleaned every three days. We weren't told upon arrival that daily cleaning was available upon request. We only found that out later. Breakfast was the same every day. I had hoped for more variety, especially on New Year's Day. The selection was pretty standard, nothing special. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, mainly because of the uncomfortable bed.

The hotel's location is okay. The East Train Station is nearby, and it's easy to get around from there. The surrounding area is also much quieter and more pleasant compared to Munich's main train station, which I personally appreciated. The view is also really nice, and the room was quite clean. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't live up to many of its promises. It feels more like a place to show than to live up to. I booked a slightly more expensive room, but I couldn't see any added value at all, neither in terms of location nor amenities. The coffee machine, which was included in the price, wasn't even in the room initially and had to be requested separately. When it arrived, it was so heavily scaled that there were more limescale fragments than coffee in the cup. The same was true for the kettle, which apparently had never been cleaned. The elevators were also a major problem: I once waited over 20 minutes, and unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. You really think twice about leaving the hotel, as planning connections or pre-booking an Uber is virtually impossible. At least you got to chat with other guests while you waited. The spa area is very small and constantly packed with children (which is generally fine). However, there were also parents with their children in the nude sauna, which was extremely unpleasant, especially when you're lying there naked yourself and children are jumping around you. I also asked for a bathrobe and slippers, which, according to the hotel's price list, should be included. I was told that none were available. This wasn't the case on my second day either. In my opinion, that's completely unacceptable, especially since there are no changing facilities in the spa area other than the bathroom. Overall, I find the price completely exorbitant for what's offered. Instead of relaxation, I felt annoyed and stressed. I will definitely not be coming back and will see if I can book an early return trip. I'll have a better time relaxing at home.
