Had a lovely week stay here in September/October 2025. We stayed in the Vardaris Block and the room (4105) was lovely with gorgeous sea views. Staff were all fantastic. The resort is very steep but the golf buggies are very helpful for lifts if you need them - there are phones to call for them throughout the resort. The drinks were great - the lagoon bar was our favourite, and the fresh pasta at lunch on the beach was also a highlight. We enjoyed both the a la carte restaurants too (we had 1 visit to each included within the all inclusive package). We also enjoyed the complimentary use of the padel court (able to reserve for free at the concierge in reception). The concierge service was consistently very helpful as you can contact them via WhatsApp. The Greek dancing entertainment night was super fun. We hired a car for a day from the hotel’s car rental service based in reception - the car was a Hyundai i10 and cost about €60 and an extra €20 for full insurance plus a little for an extra driver. We drove to Danilia village museum, Angelokastro and Paleokastritsa. We walked to the Achilleion Palace from the top of the hotel resort which was a nice morning out. We used the local bus to get to Corfu town and Benitses easily - you can get tickets on the bus for about €2.50 per fare or it is slightly cheaper to buy from the shop within the hotel. There is a boat hire by the beach - we didn’t have time to go out on them but I think it was about £20 per hour for kayaks/paddleboards. Also, the shop by the beach has cheap bottled water.

Our room showed signs of a clear bedbug infestation, and we were also bitten by bedbugs during our stay. We had very itchy skin lesions, which caused insomnia. I consulted my doctor online during my stay – they confirmed bedbug bites and advised us to avoid sun exposure to protect against scarring at the bite site. It's also concerning that similar skin lesions were visible on other guests' skin. These were lesions typical of bedbugs, not mosquitoes. The hotel changed our room, confirming this problem. During the move, I was forced to leave my luggage in the luggage storage room and wait for the other room to be ready, which was a whole day of my vacation. Without warning, the staff took my luggage to the other room, and my suitcase was cracked in two places (marks on the suitcase indicate it likely fell from a golf cart, the trolley used by the staff to transport guests). As compensation, we asked the concierge for a free extension of our stay on the day of departure, but unfortunately, they charged us €110 for this service. Although we had paid for late check-out until 9:00 PM, our room key card was blocked by 8:00 PM. I couldn't even return to call reception because the shuttle was 30 minutes late. This meant I couldn't contact the front desk and had to walk 600 meters up a steep road with heavy suitcases. The food and alcohol were of really average quality. The beach was small, but sunbeds were always available. The water was calm enough for swimming. The relaxation pool, without children, was impressive. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful green gardens.
