We were there for Christmas, it's a beautiful farmhouse and we ate very well

I went with my family for lunch on December 25th, and unfortunately, there were many things that turned us off! As soon as we arrived, we were given a table with four seats on each side, but practically no one had room to move. I asked several waiters if I could move two chairs at the head of the table, and one in particular (I think his name was Mimmo) was truly rude, telling me I'd be blocking the way (not true, in fact, they were passing through freely throughout the entire lunch) and that I should speak to the manager. No one showed up, and another waiter then told me I could move the chairs. Having resolved this, we waited 40 minutes for the appetizers to arrive. These were just a few items, all of them poor quality, with the defrosted and watery caponata being the finishing touch! The same wait for the first and second courses, which were also inedible. The paccheri tasted completely unfresh, and the ragù tasted only of fennel, probably to cover up the poor flavor of the meat. The sausage was raw, the pork was tasteless and rubbery, and the baked potatoes never arrived. We only saved the cannoli. During lunch, we asked for a bottle of Coke and was told they'd run out. They returned 15 minutes later with a can (we were a table of eight 😅), so I said we didn't need it. Another waiter returned a while later with a bottle, saying, "I looked better than the others," but emphasizing that it was the last bottle anyway. Too bad another family arrived at the end of the meal and two bottles of Coke arrived at their table! A Christmas miracle, or simply friends of the "very nice" owner? Who knows! The children's menu, priced at 25 euros, doesn't even include a hot appetizer; it's a small plate of pasta with sauce, while the adults eat appetizers and a rubbery chicken cutlet with four frozen fries. There's no dessert. The establishment is very nice, but most of the staff (only two waiters really stand out) and the poor quality of the food made the experience truly awful. When it came to the bill, listen to this: they charged me 3 euros for the infamous 1L bottle of Coke. I smiled, paid, and even left a tip. I could have complained about many things, but it was Christmas for everyone. I understand that holidays can be chaotic, but I think that if you can't maintain a high level of both food and service for the customers who pay handsomely, then it would be better to close during the holidays. I strongly advise against it.

I had lunch at this agriturismo today and highly recommend it. Clean, welcoming place, excellent service. Authentic, plentiful food. If I could, I'd give it 10 stars!!
