Rooms are exquisite with great views but breakfast service is bit lagging and room service can get better. Location is right in the jungle with birds chirping in the morning and sounds of water streams.

Alam Ubud Culture Villas & Residences is a beautifully built property with a serene location, but unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing due to poor service and lack of hospitality. The staff is very uncooperative. Drinking water is limited to only two bottles per day, and if you ask for more, it is either refused or charged. Even tea and coffee refills are reluctantly provided or charged, which feels unreasonable for a resort stay. There is no proper housekeeping service. If you need anything—basic amenities or assistance—you are expected to walk all the way to the reception yourself. Surprisingly, guests are also expected to carry their own plates and cutlery from the restaurant, which is unacceptable for a property of this category. Breakfast is extremely disappointing. If breakfast is included in your booking, you are allowed only one meal option, with very limited choices overall. On top of that, breakfast timings are 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, which is too short for guests on vacation. Dinner ends at 10:00 PM, and the restaurant staff seems overly eager to shut down and leave, making guests feel rushed. While the resort is aesthetically pleasing and located amidst nature, it is very far from Ubud city, making travel to the main areas quite challenging. Due to its isolated location, the place can feel dull and inconvenient at times. They also tend to charge for the smallest things, which further adds to the frustration. From the moment I arrived, I regretted booking this property. The experience could have been much better if the staff had been more cooperative and guest-oriented. Overall, a beautiful property let down by poor service, rigid rules, and lack of basic hospitality. I would rate it 2 stars only.
