A disaster... both in terms of the cleanliness of the premises and the owners' customer service. Liked · The location and the setting, the Queimadela dam. Disliked · The new owners' unfriendly attitude, their non-existent customer service, and the icing on the cake, a deposit refund that never happened. Thank you, Booking.com, for resolving the situation instead of the establishment. The exteriors are poorly maintained, and the quality of the renovations carried out by the new owners within the houses is questionable. (Wall outlets not replaced, dominoes in the bathroom for the light, sofa with numerous stains, BBQ not emptied upon our arrival, terrace not maintained, etc.) Housekeeping was never done for 10 days, nor were towels changed. And lastly, regarding departure, there was no one there before 10:30 a.m. We were regulars at the place; we also used to eat at the restaurant with family. But given the lack of professionalism of the people running this establishment, we decided to... Abstained... too bad you've lost regular customers due to your lack of professionalism. 08/10/2025 I'm quickly responding to the owner's response, which is blatantly dishonest once again... just like your welcome and the stay we had at your establishment. Regarding the cleanliness of the premises, it was like that when we arrived, the photos prove it. As for the pet, we did indeed have one when we arrived, but given your offer to relocate us to a one-bedroom apartment with a sofa bed instead of a two-bedroom house for the same price, we found an alternative solution to have it looked after... so I invite you to share your video footage since you have proof... But you don't! Using a lie to respond once again proves your lack of professionalism. Because unlike you, we respected your conditions... Now we'll talk about the deposit; no entry or exit inventory was carried out. We contacted your property via Booking.com to request a refund of the deposit 24 hours after you exceeded the 7-day refund period... you didn't respond... We contacted Booking.com, which sent you a message requesting a response within 5 days... you also didn't respond... Booking.com contacted you beyond this deadline and finally managed to reach you... To give us a final response stating that your financial department was overwhelmed... In the end, Booking.com did refund our €350 deposit... I would recommend that new customers who don't respect your terms pay a new deposit "in cash," thus avoiding future problems...
