The Alena resort is very nice and quiet hotel. We really enjoyed our stay there, which was part of our honeymoon trip. Because of that we received a great welcome and a cake for breakfast the first day :) the hotel can organize some tours of the island, we were lucky to have Gusti as guide which was very nice and explained us many things about the island and the Balinese culture. The position is also very good, being very close to Ubud. Recommended.

EN This is one of those places on the map of Bali where it’s worth staying for a few days to truly unwind and explore nearby attractions, like the famous rice terraces. The hotel has a unique atmosphere, is very well-kept, and is surrounded by stunning, lush greenery. The rooms and pools are sparkling clean, making relaxation a pure pleasure. A special mention goes to the food – it’s not only delicious but also beautifully presented. However, what truly sets this place apart is the staff. I honestly haven't encountered such polite, helpful, and genuinely friendly people in any other hotel. We felt perfectly taken care of at every moment. There's no need to say more – you just have to experience it for yourself. Highly recommended! We spent four days over Christmas at the Alena and it was wonderful. The grounds are stunning, the rooms fabulous and the staff charming and helpful. We had great massages in the spa, enjoyed a special Christnas Eve dinner with live music and had a terrific day tour out to see some of the sights of Bali where our lovely driver taught us so much. Really loved it all. Highly recommend.
