Excellent location for those arriving by car. No restricted traffic zone. Parking is available nearby. It's a short walk to the city center, where you can see all the main attractions. There are bus stops near the hotel for quicker access to the city center, or you can take a taxi. Reading other reviews, it seems like a less than four-star hotel. This is likely due to some missing details, especially the outdated bathroom fixtures, bathtub, unclean curtains, and dingy and dated doors. However, the rooms are spacious, with tea and coffee making facilities in the room, slippers, and various bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, etc.). Overall, it's a good choice because it's very central and has an enviable location. It might be very busy during the day, being in a traffic hub and therefore noisy. Found a great deal on Booking.com, so it's worth it at a lower price than it would otherwise be.

A fantastic hotel, to say the least. Gorgeous rooms in the heart of Florence, just 10 minutes from the Duomo. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and available for any need. SUPER! Breakfast? The same, worthy of the hotel!

I highly recommend staying here. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Easily accessible from both the Florence Santa Maria Novella train station and the Florence Campo di Marte train station. The area is well connected to the city center by public transportation, and a 15-minute walk will get you there.
