From the moment you arrive at the hotel, its surroundings captivate you. Beautiful. Spectacular. Leo greeted us with a smile and was very professional in everything we needed, as were all the hotel receptionists. A gorgeous location. Very nice and comfortable accommodations. A restaurant and three swimming pools. There are animals all over the hotel. We were greeted by marmosets on the power lines. A pair of macaws woke us up every morning at dawn. Iguanas roamed the entire hotel grounds. The only sounds were the howls of the howler monkeys. White-faced capuchin monkeys also visit the hotel. We will return. We loved it.

We came in the dry seasons (Feb.). We tried two hotels in Manuel Antonio and this one was the better value and overall vibes. We loved it and didn't want to leave. This place is perfect if you want to enjoy nature and peace. The buildings are downhill from the road, so you don't hear much road noise at all. There are several buildings spread out over the property and three different swimming pools. The buildings are solidly built and you don't hear noise from your neighbors neither above, below, or beside. The view is toward the national park, not toward the ocean, but you can go across the street to get ocean views at several restaurants on that side. The property is planted with a variety of trees and flowers that attract birds and wildlife. We saw as much wildlife here as anywhere. We had a table and chairs outside our room on the covered porch, which was a great spot for resting and looking for wildlife, but you could also walk around the paths all over the property. Let's talk about the people. The employees were great, friendly and helpful. The front office staff speak English. We had a couple of small maintenance issues with things in the room which were handled immediately and to our satisfaction. They gave us great local advice and set up a couple of activities for us. They use WhatsApp which is convenient and they have real humans answering, NOT a BOT. No one here seemed like they were expecting tips; the next place we went had a different vibe, less relaxed and more touristy. This one was cleaner, better maintained, and less expensive than the second one too.
