This was our third stay at the Almhof, and we choose this hotel for its location right on the slopes. The rooms are large and lovely, very clean, and offer everything you need to a very high standard. The wave pool is for ages 13 and up and is quite nice, although we've certainly experienced better. The pool is also rather small and is occasionally completely occupied by larger groups. The equipment in the fitness room could use more frequent checks and maintenance; the treadmill was wobbly. We travel with children and book half-board. Breakfast offers a wide selection and some extras (juicer, various types of milk, omelet station). Everything is fresh and of very good quality. At dinner, we were impressed by the cuisine every evening. The sometimes ambitious menus never disappointed. The staff is also remarkably excellent—always friendly and efficient. Requests and wishes are practically always accommodated and promptly fulfilled. I have rarely experienced such consistently high service. Bravo!

The hotel is very friendly and family-friendly. We stayed here with a dog and a small child. We had half board - breakfast was buffet style and dinner consisted of a 4-course menu. The food was homemade and very good. The only small drawback was that the hotel is located on a hill, which is difficult with a small child. The staff was very nice and spoke German and English.
