Almont Hotel Naha Omoromachi

I visited the Almont Hotel again this year, following last year. The photos are mixed in with last year's. This year, the exterior was under construction, but I didn't notice any noticeable noise (I always slept with earplugs). I like this place because it's conveniently located right in front of DFS and Naha Main Place for grocery shopping and easy access to other areas. It's also a nice touch, being away from the bustling Kokusai Street, which doesn't have much to see. The room was clean, the public bath was always clean, and the staff was friendly. The only downside is that the rooms were quite cramped and the breakfast was delicious, but the prices have gone up significantly this year.

If you're staying here in winter, be sure to read this review: 1. The heating is controlled throughout the building, so the rooms are very stuffy; you'll have to open the windows. 2. If you can't stand it, call the front desk. Find the front desk during the day; they're more efficient and friendly. (I asked the front desk for help the next morning.)
