First hotel review ever but definitely read if you’re planning on stay at Aloft. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, but after my recent experience, I will never return. I woke up to ladybugs everywhere in my room falling on the bed, on the ceiling, the walls, and even dropping onto the floor. It was absolutely disgusting. I was in town for work meetings and didn’t have time to deal with this, so I quickly showed the concierge photos and asked to be moved to a different room. He did not care at all. When I returned that evening, the staff on duty had no idea about my situation, and my room was still full of bugs even on my clothes and bags. Thankfully, Tonya stepped in and helped move me to another room, but it was not equivalent to the room I originally paid for. That new room also had only a quarter roll of toilet paper, though at that point it was the least of my concerns. The next morning, I tried addressing the issue again and was shrugged off. I was told, “It’s that time of year.” I don’t care what time of year it is no guest should be waking up with bugs crawling on the ceiling and falling onto their bed. I was also told I’d receive a call about compensation or a discount, but I’ve heard nothing and was charged the full price. This was an unacceptable experience from start to finish, with the exception of Tonya, who was the only one who showed any care or professionalism. Look at my photos and decide for yourself if you’d want to sleep in a room like that. I certainly won’t be back.

The hotel is nice and if you are into the club scene, it’s probably great for you. If you have kids, it is not great. They claim to have a restaurant but they don’t. It’s a self serve “convenience store”. After our 1st morning, they were out of cereal and pretty much everything else. We were there for 4 nights. For two mornings, there was no nonflavored cream for our coffee. Also, the bathroom just has a curtain instead of a door. Not much privacy for a shower. One other problem, we were as far away from the elevator as you could get and there was no heat in the hallway. It was really cold. Too expensive with no breakfast included. We will not stay again.
