We’ve stayed in many hotels in Zermatt as we come every year. From the moment you step into Alpenhotel Fleurs you are NOT greeted by the receptionist who is a man that keeps looking at you as if to judge you constantly. The feeling with him throughout the trip was that we were unwelcome. My mother asked for hot water for tea and he said ‘no, we dont serve hot water after 9PM’ (it was 8.58 PM). Everything we requested was answered negatively. Truly sad as switzerland is known for its amazing hospitality.

Sadly I can only concur with so many other reviews about this place. I fully appreciate that some guests may make life difficult for the hotel staff, but don't expect any credit if you don't. Treat the staff with courtesy and respect and you'll get nothing back other than to be made to feel a nuisance. Too many instances to mention but they are simply repeats of what so many other reviewers have said. The cleaners ironically were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice spa. But the attitude of the front office staff can seriously spoil your holiday and given so many others have said this and nothing has been done about it, there is clearly no appetite for change. I would not return here and make my friends and family feel the way I was made to feel. Very sad to be leaving my first and hopefully last 1 star review.

A very pleasant stay in this lovely hotel facing the Matterhorn. Spacious room with a beautiful view. The spa is very enjoyable. The hotel is located 5 minutes from the train station. Quiet, clean, and with attentive staff.
