Worst Hotel Experience We’ve Ever Had. Rude Management, Poor Hygiene, Toxic Work Environment Our stay at Radisson Blu Hotel was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience we have ever encountered. Terrible attitude especially by the Manager Albert and staff Azizul Haq on Christmas Day. (Note other reviews have mentioned Manager Albert’s attitude). On Christmas Day we were screamed at by Azizul Haq as he said he was shouted and scolded at by Manager Albert. Firstly, we booked and paid specifically for a River View room for 2 individuals (my mom and sis). which was clearly stated in our booking confirmation. Upon check-in, we were informed that we would be given a city view room instead. When we raised this, front desk staff member Azizul Haq responded in a dismissive and condescending manner to my mom, stating that we should be grateful to receive a room at all due to high demand. (He said that we were lucky to get a booking because he bragged they were “fully booked” till 2026) We were later told by Manager Albert that the room type shown during booking was only a “sample” and not a guaranteed room, despite the hotel offering different categories for river view and city view rooms. That was ridiculous what do you mean our booking for the room type was only a sample? If that were the case why didn’t the booking indicate City View/River View? As no resolution was offered, we reluctantly accepted the city view room. After the initial interaction, my mother and sister felt uncomfortable staying alone. So i adjusted my travel plans and stayed an additional night. We informed reception, requested an extra bed, and the third bed was delivered to the room. I have included a video of the room with the third bed. Regardless we decided to check out as we were uncomfortable in the hotel. Despite this, during check-out the following day, we were confronted loudly by the Azizul who told us he was “educating us” that we had failed to declare a third guest. We explained the situation and noted that the hotel had already been informed and had provided the additional bed. Azizul then tried to justify shouting at my mother because he was scolded by Manger Albert. This is in no way professional behaviour in a hotel setting. Manager Albert was equally or even more unprofessional as the situation escalated further when he became involved. He was equally unhelpful and spoke to us in an aggressive and unprofessional manner, offering no resolution and dismissing our concerns. He then denied shouting at Azizul. However, throughout our stay we also observed staff being spoken to harshly in guest-visible areas such as breakfast and outside our rooms, which contributed to an uncomfortable atmosphere. Staff were being scolded loudly in front of guests. Lastly, the hotel condition was also poor: dirty carpets, dusty surfaces, towels and bed linens with unpleasant smells, very dim lighting, and unreliable Wi-Fi. Being a “historic” hotel does not excuse lack of cleanliness. We have stayed in hotels across a wide range of standards internationally, and this was among the poorest experiences we have had in terms of service, communication, and overall comfort. Based on our experience, avoid this hotel at all cost. There are better hotels around the area. Even if this review deters one person i’m glad it did. Save yourself the money and spend it on somewhere better.

Ceiling leaked, shower doesn't work and tall guy on reception really didn't care. Breakfast was very good, excellent friendly service.
