The only thing wrong was the TV didnt work. It was clean quite and peace. Hardly any noise. No TV in room 317 that sucks all night. Some one or they took the cords out of the room. I looked and there was no cables to the tv to the cable box.

First, they gave us keys to a room that was already occupied, so we had to get a new room. Then, my friend noticed what looks like fecal stains on the bedsheet while I noticed old blood splatter all over the shower curtain. Definitely looks like the set of a low budget 90s slasher and would not stay here again.

Before I begin my experience… I did want to point out that Almost every review shown here has a response from the owner saying they appreciate the feedback on the issues. I think this begs the question… If you are well aware of your property being a health hazard, why aren’t you actually doing something about it? Vapid and shallow apologies mean nothing when actions aren’t taken to resolve the ongoing problems You see in these reviews year after year. I used an online booking site when staying with this hotel. Their review reviews were questionable But the photos looked good and I believed it was a space I had stayed in a few years back. Given that past experience, I was more comfortable Going in. However, when I arrived, I realized that this was not the same Hotel I had stayed at. As I looked at the parking lot and then walked into the building. I realized the Stark mistake I had made by even booking this.I’ve stayed in lower cost hotels before but this was absolutely the worst. Have you ever read a book where the protagonist stays at a hotel and they describe it as a place they didn’t want to take their shoes off in, and wouldn’t have been suprised if it had been a crime scene at one time? That was my feeling and the total vibe. I got the feeling the front desk staff might live in site and the scent of curry hung thickly in the air permeating everything (it was still in my clothes and hair seven hours after leaving). As I walked down the corridor to my room my sense of unease grew. Poorly lit with a very low drop ceiling… it felt claustrophobic. The doors of the rooms battered. I found my room and went in just to find more of the same esthetic. A beat up tiny fridge I didn’t even bother to open, outlets that were so loose anything you plugged in fell out. Broken lights. Peeling mirrors. No toilet paper (just Kleenex), A cracked bathroom sink with a large glop of yellow substance that I’m unsure if it had been something they tried to use to make a repair or something the prior tenant had coughed up which hadn’t been cleaned away (I didn’t pursue disturbing it to try to find out). Everything felt gross. The bathtub was the worst with growing mildew and mold. The non-slip mat at the bottom of the tub bing framed with a black ring of dirt. Floors unswept. This was filth pure and simple. I got maybe one hour of sleep because the level of disgusting put my nervous system on high alert and I just could not rest. When I went to shower in the morning by I put down one of the bath towels in the tub to creat a barrier or sorts between me and whatever grossness there was and tried not to touch anything, wearing my shoes the entire time I was there short of when I was in the bed. I also took another towel and wet it with a bit of soap to wipe down my dogs who had spent the night on the disgusting floor. I did write the city ordinance division since I figured there had to be multiple health code violations at this place. Seems like the city of Boise doesn’t do any inspections to the inside of properties after they’re built and really just doesn’t care that this place is basically a slum. And I didn’t realize I could respect the city of Boise any less… I guess Hilton had once owned the building and they had sticker on the bathroom mirror talking about how much care then put into sanitizing for their clients health and saftey… I looked around the bathroom and the irony just dripped slowly and in large amounts. How this place is allowed to exist as it stands is beyond me. The homes around it are very nice and I’m sure this is dragging the property values significantly.
