It was very nice that on check in I had a friend who had decided to bunk with me and the front desk person offered to move us to a double bed room free of charge without even being asked. Upon getting to the room, my keycard took a while to work and the handle was a little loose. After I got in, the main ceiling light was burnt out. Then in the bathroom there were numerous little black hairs (pubes) on the floor, splash stains on the wall, mold spots on the shower curtain and in the corner of the shower. And paint splatters about. Around the room the little details of a poor cleaning job was very evident. The fitted bedsheets don't even fit the bed. I normally would have requested to switch rooms but had a migraine and was having lingering airsickness, so I just wanted to go to bed. The bed was VERY comfortable! When mentioned the bathroom hairs to maid staff the next day they came in with a roller and took care of that. But no disinfectant. Rooms are very noisy. Between being next to the stairwell and on the middle floor, it was constant footsteps and kids run up and down the stairs until 2 am the second night, and then back again at 6 am. The morning front desk lady had poor guest service. I went down for breakfast at 9:45 the first morning. Most of the food was put away, and waffle maker was off. She was in there sweeping, never said anything to me, nor reminded me of the breakfast cut off time. I tried small talk about the weather, but she had her ear buds in. Still having a migraine it took a few attempts for me to get a successful waffle, so I probably went past the breakfast time. But, without saying anything to me, and while I still had the waffle cooking, she came into the kitchen area with a pack of cigarettes and one in her hand, turned off the lights to the kitchen, and then went outside for a smoke. Not even a friendly, "Hey, just so you know, the breakfast ends at xxx", she just turned the lights out on me. This hotel served the purpose of giving me somewhere comfortable to lay down and get through my migraine while being in town for a funeral. As far as staying again .... I will not be! Nor will a set of Sr citizen ladies that where checking out as I was down for breakfast.

We've struggled to find a good hotel in Minot before (come here often for railroading) but we were overall happy with our stay and would visit again! -Very comfy bed and pillows. -Clean and quiet. -Included hot breakfast was good (scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, bread products dairy, etc) topped up, and clean. -We saw that they have an indoor pool (didn't use) -Wifi was really slow (3.5mbps upload/ 4.5 mbps download) -TV was not ready to be used and my technologically impaired partner would have never figured it out (had to change a bunch of settings/input/hdmi etc) Price on a weekday in late Sept 2025 was about $65 USD before tax

The service we recieved from Tamryn was awesome. She made us feel welcome and like we were family. She was really helpful and made us comfortable.
