AVOID THE WATERSPORTS! This completely ruined the memories of an otherwise phenomenal weekend stay we’ve had. Everything else was terrific - the hotel, service, the villas, just so beautiful and great for making family memories. Until we got to our „mangroves kayak tour”. We are a group of 2 adults and 2 small kids (3 and 6 years old). The brochure said there is a mangrove kayak tour for 300aed. Quite a lot for 45 mins of kayaking, but OK. What did we end up paying? First its not 300 but already 400. And thats per person including kids - so 1600aed!!! Not only that, it wasnt as I thought - private guide shows us around the mangroves, explains, tells something interesting also for the kids to learn. Instead we got a big GROUP (about 12 people in total) kayaking around the mangroves with a „guide” that showed us there are some flamingos ahead and thats all. The kayaks were completely wet with large puddles of water inside so we were sitting in water and completely soaked. If it was a complimentary thing - okay, fine. Usually in resorts kayaks are complimentary. But to pay 1600dhs for this? Felt like part of the (popular in UAE) „rip off the customer as much as you can” attitude. We kayaked in Hatta a few days ago for 60dhs!

An unforgettable stay at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort Our stay at the sea-view villas was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The villa itself was stunning beautifully designed, incredibly private, and perfectly positioned with breathtaking views of the sea. Every detail reflected comfort, elegance, and the calm luxury Anantara is known for. What truly made this experience stand out, however, was the outstanding hospitality. A very special thank you to Ibrahim, who welcomed us with such warmth and professionalism. His care and attention were remarkable from A to Z. He followed up on every detail, handled all arrangements smoothly, and made sure every moment of our stay felt seamless and thoughtful. His genuine hospitality, kindness, and dedication truly elevated our experience. From the peaceful atmosphere and high level of service to the well-organized activities and exceptional guest care, everything exceeded expectations. This stay felt personal, memorable, and truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious yet heartfelt getaway. We will definitely be back.
