The swimming pool staff were rude!

Recently, we went for short vacation on 1st Jan 2026 and stay a night. I felt deceived by the size of bed. Booked 3 bedrooms with 1 x king size bed, 1 x queen bed and 2 x single beds. We got 2 x queens and 2 x single beds. Asking for courtessy of adding extra bed but been charged. The duty receptionist named Farah/Farhah on that time reply unfairly “ sorry encik bukan masalah kami katil x sama size”. Please educate some of your staff to be more polite and professional. Other than that, the location was awesome. Nearby to the beach and food convenience.

I was hoping for a relaxing weekend getaway, but it turned into an all-you-can-eat buffet for mosquitoes with me as the main course. Sleeping was nearly impossible, as I was being bitten even on my toes. I have managed to kill about ten mosquitoes, some of which had black-and-white striped legs. I’m vaccinated but do be careful of the dengue fever if you’re not. When checking out, I asked the receptionist why there were so many mosquitoes even though all the doors and windows were kept closed. She explained that they were coming from the floor trap, which apparently leaves little room for a proper solution. The resort does offer mosquito spray, but given the sheer number of mosquitoes, it’s unlikely to be effective. This is a family-oriented resort, with many families and children around. One positive point is that outside noise doesn’t reach the bedroom, although it can still be heard in the living and dining areas. The location is great-very close to a public beach. The property has a private pool, but unfortunately no longer offers a private Beach. Cleanliness was mixed: the toilet was quite dusty, though the living room was acceptable. I booked a non-kitchen room, and there were no cutleries provided. Food deliveries are left at the guardhouse, about a five-minute walk away, so ordering takeaway to eat in the room isn't very convenient. The staff were friendly and polite. I felt bad raising these issues with them, as they seem to be more of a management or design problem than a staff one. Chinese and Malaysians, avoid this place. The resort offers mosquito repellent spray, but given the number of mosquitoes, its effectiveness is likely limited. This is a family-oriented resort with many families traveling with children. An advantage is that outdoor noise doesn't reach the bedrooms, but some noise can still be heard in the living room and dining room. The location is excellent, very close to the public beach. The resort has a private pool, but unfortunately, the private beach is no longer available. Cleanliness was inconsistent: the toilets were quite dusty, but the living room was relatively clean. I booked a room without a kitchen, and no cutlery was provided. Takeout can only be left at the security guard's desk at the entrance, about a five-minute walk away, so it's not convenient to order takeout to eat in the room. The staff were all friendly and had a good attitude. I actually felt a little bad when I raised these issues with them, because these were clearly management or design problems, not staff problems. Saya sudah divaksin, namun sila berhati-hati dengan demam denggi jika anda belum divaksin. Masa check out, saya tanya receptionist kenapa banyak nyamuk walaupun semua pintu dan tingkap ditutup. Dia menjelaskan bahawa nyamuk tersebut datang dari perangkap lantai. Ini resort sesuai untuk keluarga, ramai keluarga dan kanak-kanak singgah kat sini. Lokasinya sangat baik-sangat dekat dengan pantai. Resort ini ada kolam renang persendirian, tapi dia sudah tak ada pantai private. Tahap kebersihan bercamppur: tandas agak berdebu, ruang tamu boleh diterima. Saya book bilik tanpa dapur, tiada peralatan makan disediakan. menyusahkan. Staffs di resort ini ramah dan sopan. I feel bad untuk mengemukakan isu-isu ini kepada mereka, kerana masalah ini lebih berkaitan dengan management atau reka bentuk building ini.
