A review of Anda from my perspective. I will first start by saying that I will absolutely never stay here again. This hostel is just wearing nice makeup to hide an ugly soul. The place has no soul, no good vibes, no family. Yeah it may look big and nice from the outside, they have a bar :oh yay:, and other amenities, however don't let this fool you. The rooms - I suggest you learn to turn the heat off, otherwise you'll be sweating through the night. You have to make your own bed "first time in 100+ hostels I've seen that", I had a broken wrist and couldn't do that being on the top bunk. They charge you 6eu for a towel, that's absurd. They charge you for locks. & as you will see, the hostel says they don't make your bed so they can offer you an "interesting" rate, however totally get you with a towel + lock rental. Not good vibes. The rooms were clean though and housekeeping did great. However there are sinks, bathroom, and shower all in the room!! Bring earplugs and an eye mask. Everytime you open the door to the room the light comes on, not so nice if you get back late to the room and have to hit everyone with light. Location is near bus and train if needing to get around. It's definitely a vibe for the 21 year old crowd. The "DJ" and music nights are absolutely trash. Same old white girl type music for a young crowd. I produce music and have DJ'd all over the world, they wouldn't allow me to play music even for 10 minutes for fear of being shut down because apparently they have a contract with a media agency that dictates who can play music. Owner said he was fearful an undercover person would be there and find out. Aside from the DJ music, music playing through the day is not great, just same old, no good vibes with the music. Stale energy with no character other than those nostalgic for college parties, or younger people. Lastly, out if my 100+ hostel stays, this is a first - It was Sunday evening and I'm at the computer area doing work from about 6pm to 11pm. I have a private security guard come up to me aggressively asking to see my room key because he didn't think that I was a guest there. What in the world is that?!? Tldr: Terrible Vibes. Terrible music. No character. They nickle and dime you on towels and locks, you have to make your own bed and sinks/bathrooms/showers in the same room. Sinks are legit in the same room as where beds are. If there is an alternative for the same price I suggest booking there. If you're young, don't care, and want to party like younger American girls, this is for you.
