Excellent stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang. Great service rendered by Manager Jacky upon arrival and departure. My family really enjoyed the stay and the room as well. Will definitely will be back again

I think it's acceptable not spectacular as I expected from what has been reviewed as a 5 star resort. So much needs painting, fixing and replacing!! I hope someone does not fall off the low balustrade. My Lord, nearly lost my balance on loose decking. And never nice to see the pool not looking totally fabulous top to bottom. i can say the food is good but pricey. Shower is great but...not a hard job to replace the mouldy sealant...hmm? And the scratches on the dark brown, cheap glossy floorboards because of cheap metal equipment in the room...with all panels. i gave 3 stars....could easily get to 4 with some work but 5...No way. Some Staff at reception or all need to be a lot more hospitable and friendly...serve with a smile as after all, it matters. We travelled far and the guards know how outside...ask them :)

🚨 BAD FOOD 🚨 Overall, our stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang has been very pleasant. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, well maintained, and we genuinely have nothing negative to say regarding the accommodation or the service from the staff. The team has been welcoming, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated as a family. However, the major disappointment — and unfortunately a significant one — has been the food across the resort’s outlets. We tried multiple venues during our stay, including Jendela and No.11, and the culinary experience has been consistently below expectations for a hotel of this category and brand standard. At No.11, there is clearly an attempt to position the restaurant as a modern dining concept with multi-course menus, but the execution does not match the ambition. The dishes lacked proper seasoning, balance, and refinement. From a technical perspective, there were clear inconsistencies that prevented the experience from reaching the level the concept is aiming for. At Jendela, similar issues were present: • Food often under-seasoned • Meat overcooked and chewy • Dishes noticeably oily • Lack of precision in cooking techniques After 17 years working professionally in kitchens around the world, including luxury hospitality environments, I found the overall culinary quality surprisingly weak for a five-star resort. This is not a matter of personal taste but of fundamental execution and quality control. Even when prices are reasonable for a luxury hotel, it is always disappointing to pay for food that does not meet expected standards. This is an area where there is clearly room for improvement, and I strongly believe the culinary leadership should review consistency, seasoning, and technical execution across the outlets.
