Don't trust the photos! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week and, quite frankly, we were more than disappointed. We were told it had the highest praise: sea view, great location with everything nearby, buses to take you to so many cities. It's not the case. To find a bus, you have to walk for about 20 minutes, maybe 25 minutes, to a bus stop that takes you to Heraklion. There are almost no restaurants except the one next to the hotel, and it's closed on October 19th. Luckily, we went to eat at Big Blue, a 10-minute walk away, and we had a great time. Apart from this restaurant, there's nothing in sight. The hotel is out of the way, it's awful. We also had problems with the water. No hot water for three nights. Luckily, a kind person (a hotel employee) found us an unoccupied room so we could shower. The manager is super rude; he doesn't care if you're in a mess. Anyway, I could go on and on about our dissatisfaction. Run away from this hotel, which, in our opinion, is no better than a 2-star hotel. Oh, one more thing: the breakfast is disgusting. Thank goodness we didn't opt for half-board.
