We stayed at the Antmare Hotel in Alaçatı for a week in August. The hotel's location was definitely its biggest plus: right on the beach, very quiet and ideal for relaxing. Our room was lovely, and we received a free room upgrade as there were available rooms; we were very pleased and grateful for that. Unfortunately, there were also some negative points. Despite the hotel being small, the staff were quite distant and indifferent. Although the owners were at the hotel all week, they only interacted with some guests; we weren't even greeted with a smile or a "hello." This was quite upsetting. Breakfast definitely didn't meet our expectations. Despite being advertised as "excellent" on Booking.com, hot meals were not included in the breakfast and an extra charge was applied; we found this quite misleading. Our lunch experience was also disappointing. We ordered a very simple toast and had to wait about 40 minutes. It was surprising to wait that long considering there were only about 20 guests at the hotel.

There was a problem with the hotel's heating system; we returned to the hotel, and it was a miracle we managed to leave in the morning. It's not advisable to go there during these winter months.

The hotel was very cozy, intimate, and spotlessly clean. It was located off the beaten track, but we had a car, so getting to the center was easy. A windsurfing spot was very close by. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fitness room was very well-equipped. The facility exceeded our expectations.
