Having stayed at Anya Hotel for 35 nights, I was relieved when my stay finally ended. Unfortunately, the experience was consistently disappointing and far below what one would expect from a property that markets itself as a 5-star hotel. The indoor air quality was poor throughout my stay. The in-room AC filters appear not to have been cleaned in years and are covered with a thick blanket of dust. As a result, there is a persistent layer of fine dust on nearly every surface in the room no matter how often the cleaning. The property itself feels extremely dated. During my stay there were occasional power trips, periods without hot water, leaky taps, and an AC system that was noisy or broken. The pool is said to be “under renovation,” but it appears to be an abandoned project with no visible progress. The gym is also disappointing, with only one treadmill, a few free weights, and no towels provided. Occupancy seemed very low throughout my stay, which created an odd atmosphere. Lights and air conditioning were sometimes switched off in common areas and even in the restaurant, making the hotel feel somewhat deserted. While the staff were generally polite, the service lacked the professionalism and problem-solving ability compared to international hospitality brands. Staff frequently asked how my stay was going, but when feedback was provided, very little was done to address the issues. Even simple requests were often declined due to “hotel policies.” Frontline staff seemed to have little authority to resolve problems and appeared reluctant to escalate concerns. At one point I was even given what appeared to be a fake email address for the hotel's gm. The location is the hotel’s main positive. However, I would not recommend this hotel for business travellers due to its inflexible systems and policies. It is also not particularly suitable for leisure travellers, as there is little of interest nearby and the hotel itself offers poor facilities one only one restaurant with limited menu. Overall, this property is closer to a 3 star hotel.

Excellent hotel with really helpful staff and great facilities Few minor issues that we faced on check in were quickly resolved by staff Special mention of Jeetendra in front office, Vikas Rajni and Dharmendra in the restaurant and Dharmendra in house keeping who were really attentive and resolved the minor issues referred to above quickly Centrally located in CBD sector 42 so easy access to local shopping etc

Terrible experience. To start with it’s not even a 4 star hotel. The infrastructure and service is that of a 3 star hotel The staff at the reception was very cold and unwelcoming. The towels in the bathroom were so old they didn’t even look white. The food at the breakfast was undercooked. I had to repeatedly call the house keeping to get napkins. I was there for 4 nights and after 2 nights my room key stopped working and I had to run around to get it fixed. Lightings were so poor we couldn’t do makeup properly at any place in the room. Our dustbin was not cleared till moment we checked out. Overall a pretty unpleasant experience. Would never recommend or book my stay again.
