Stayed at AP Premier Batam for 4 days, 3 nights. The hotel is conveniently located near Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal, around a 5 minute drive by Grab or Gojek, making it easy to travel around Batam by private hire. From Friday to Sunday, the hotel also provides a shuttle service to several malls with three trips daily, which can be arranged by informing the front desk in advance. The room was clean and functional, but clearly outdated. The furniture is old and the room shows its age, with noticeable wear and tear. Although it is generally well maintained, soundproofing needs improvement, especially for light sleepers. Noise from the corridor and neighbouring rooms, particularly connecting rooms, can be quite noticeable when other guests are loud. Breakfast was average and the menu remained the same each day. A rotating menu would greatly improve the experience, as it becomes repetitive after a few days, though it is still acceptable and sufficient. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym, both of which are reasonably spacious. However, the overall property is old and in need of quite a lot of refurbishment. The building was originally Novotel Batam, later rebranded as Travelodge Batam, and is now AP Premier. Much of the layout, room design, and furnishings clearly reflect its Novotel era origins. While the hotel is kept in usable condition, it feels dated throughout. Both smoking and non smoking rooms are available. Overall, this is a decent hotel and offers reasonable value if you do not mind an older, outdated property. Security guards are on duty, which adds reassurance. Service was a strong point of the stay, with staff who were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I would consider staying here again in the future. With proper refurbishment and renovation, the hotel has strong potential to be among the better accommodation options in Batam.

The deluxe room was old, a bit dirty, floor got cracks, wall is full of dirty mark, furniture is torn, toilet bowl keeps on flushing. My bf was so unhappy with the room that we had to ask for an upgrade. Hotel is old and not in good condition. Will not return again.

A hotel with an old-world feel. Quite complete facilities, including a swimming pool, gym, ping pong table, ballroom, and garden. Billiards area, darts game, and karaoke.
