I stayed here while on a tour for a live performance. The fact that they had a smoking single room, which is rare even for an APA Hotel, was what made me decide to stay there. The other thing was the large public bath. I arrived early, so I checked in early (1,000 yen per hour). This allowed me to get ready at my own pace. The bed was a Cloudfit, which was just the right amount of soft, and there were two types of pillows. As is true for APA hotels in general, the single rooms are on the small side, so it can be a bit difficult to open your suitcase and organize your belongings, but I think it's within the realm of acceptability. The large public bath has about eight washing spaces, and the bathtub is about the size of a medium bath, so if it's crowded, you may have to wait for the washing area. Incidentally, you can check the hotel's congestion status on the TV in your room, but it's not very reliable. When I arrived after seeing a sign that said "Crowded," there were actually only two or three people there, so it's only a rough estimate. Also, the changing room was incredibly small. The lockers were small and neatly lined up, so when it's crowded, you have to be careful when changing clothes. As for breakfast, I think it depends on the room. They have a wide selection of famous Nagoya dishes, as well as some standard favorites, so I think it's suitable for people of all ages. The food was replenished appropriately, but the broth for the hitsumabushi was really salty. I felt like they must have mixed it wrong. There's no broth saltier than miso soup... Also, the broth was gone, so I pointed that out to the woman on the floor, but it never came out. I had no choice but to ask a staff member in the kitchen, and it was brought out immediately. They must have forgotten about it...
