The hotel didn't quite match the photos, and the room wasn't clean. The sheets and towels were never changed, the bathroom ceiling was sagging, the microwave inside the kitchen was rusty, and the freezer compartment in the refrigerator was completely missing. There was no balcony, and the view wasn't what we had expected. Furthermore, my partner was in a wheelchair and had great difficulty getting around; in fact, he couldn't even access the kitchen. I asked reception several times if it was possible to get a room with better access, but we were told no, and no one did anything to help us.

Upon arriving on March 8, 2026, having been staying in the apartment since Monday, March 2, 2026, I tried to access my apartment (408) and found that the door wouldn't open. I've worked in hotels and know this can happen with key cards. I went down to reception to have it reactivated. When I arrived, I was greeted by the receptionist, Carla, who rudely asked me which hotel I was staying at (Park Plaza or Hotel Tropical). This surprised me, as this same woman had checked me in on my arrival day and had seen me (without greeting me) on several occasions. When I replied "here," knowing I meant Park Plaza, she responded sarcastically and ironically, "Well, since your face isn't very striking..." This seems to me a complete lack of respect and a totally reprehensible attitude towards anyone, especially since I am a repeat customer on an extended stay who hasn't caused any problems during my time here. I request that this be brought to the attention of the person in charge, and that this employee be investigated and disciplined. Her colleague Marcos witnessed the situation and, after Ms. Carla left, he had a completely different attitude, being much more assertive and also astonished by the situation.

Internet wifi: free but slow, not reliable Location: center/good Parking: easy if you’re lucky/free Visitors: not allowed Infrastructure: old Noise: depends (ours is interior, no view but quiet) Cleanliness: ok, tendrán que dar con antical a los grifos y demás para una limpieza profunda. Overall it’s fine. The rooms need renovation and deep cleaning perhaps but it’s ok. You can find better hotels with the same price but farther.
