Apartmenthaus Hamburg

I had a wonderful stay at Les Jardine Apartment in Hamburg. I was particularly impressed by the peaceful atmosphere – perfect for unwinding after an eventful day – and the superb central location. Buses and trains are easily accessible, allowing for flexible travel. There are also plenty of lovely shops and excellent restaurants within walking distance. For me, it was the ideal combination of relaxation and city life. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the hotel for five days. Since I was traveling for business, a location near my company was my primary selection criterion. The rooms are small but modern and clean apartments in a quiet location. The walls are a bit thin, but this wasn't too bothersome. The owner was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. All in all, I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely return.

Upon arrival, I discovered there was no elevator. I then lugged my luggage up to the top floor. Once there, I realized the code didn't work, and the receptionist, clearly annoyed, let me into the room by mentioning that check-in wasn't until 3:00 PM. The room had no wardrobe or place to put my shoes, so everything was immediately dirty and sandy, even though it was initially quite clean. It wasn't cleaned once in six days, and there was a lint trap hanging above the bed. I booked a room with a balcony because I'm a smoker, but apparently, smoking isn't allowed on the balcony. The biggest problem, however, was that you could hear absolutely everything. Every step, every word, even when the neighbor put their phone on the nightstand. It's not pleasant for me either, knowing that I'm disturbing others when I arrive at 2, 3, or 4 in the morning from a conference and want to take a shower. Furthermore, the apartment entrance doors have glass panels, meaning that every time the light outside is switched on, everything inside is bright too… I ended up using a towel to block out the light. The dishes were so dirty I was disgusted by them. I put everything straight into the thankfully provided dishwasher. On the second-to-last day, the shower drain stopped working. The wallpaper is peeling everywhere. There are cracks in the corners. It seems to me like they used the cheapest drywall construction and are now selling it as premium. For that price, I could have found a much better place to stay. I won't be doing this again.
