Appart'City Classic Thonon Les Bains

As a regular guest, I've noticed several times that the housekeeping is truly appalling, and it's getting worse. Everything is dirty upon arrival, the previous guests' trash is still in the closet... It really doesn't make you want to stay. What's more, there weren't even any towels in the room. I won't be returning.

Conveniently located near everything. However, the room was very dirty.

Our experience at this aparthotel was beyond disappointing, and the hygiene was appalling. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and found ourselves outside the hotel ringing the bell. No one answered, and the number displayed on the door didn't work. Some people in the same situation managed to reach a very kind security guard who told us that we weren't the only ones locked out since the previous day. However, despite having our booking confirmation, he couldn't do anything for us because there was no room number on it, so he couldn't open our room and gave us a new number to call. We finally got through to a man who gave us a code to retrieve the keys from the outside safe, but the safe wouldn't open. He started losing patience, saying things like, "But it works perfectly fine," etc. Well, no, it's malfunctioning, my dear sir, just like everything else! After much persistence, we finally got it open! But our troubles weren't over yet. The room reeked of sewage and cigarette smoke, the floor hadn't been cleaned, there were still shoe prints everywhere, dirty dishes, a full and stinky fridge, splatter on the toilet door, a disgusting trash can, and no towels. There were brown hairs on and in the sheets of the bed, and that's just the beginning. I ran into a charming lady in the hallway who told me she refused to sleep in her bed because it was so filthy, and everything else was just as bad! And to top it all off, because it wouldn't be funny, you have the train right outside the building, with the barrier buzzing and the train roaring past. In short, I've never been so happy to leave a hotel! The only positive point is its location in the center of Thonon.
