APPARTHOTEL CERDANYA AND SPA

I've never stayed in such a filthy hotel. The air vent was disgusting, the oven unusable due to a severe lack of cleaning (an unwashed dish was still inside), there were numerous suspicious stains on the mattresses, as well as marks on the furniture and heaters. The access point was blocked off, not locked, and not marked as dangerous. There was such an impressive amount of limescale throughout the bathroom that the water became cloudy. Many utensils were unclean, the toaster was dirty with crumbs from the previous guest still present. The remote control was sticky, and there was much more... In short, you can imagine that this night, during which we couldn't sleep in the beds, was anything but a good experience. The next day, during a discussion with a very kind manager to get a refund, an employee spoke rudely to us, downplaying the serious issues. To get a refund commensurate with the problems we encountered, we will have to go through the website where we made our reservation. Avoid at all costs. To get a clean bed, we were told we just had to pay an extra €15 for linens, because I suppose putting a sheet (at €15) on a dirty mattress must surely create an antibacterial barrier, right? At this point, it's almost disrespectful. Oh yes, and of course, hair or fur was found on some of the mattresses. ✌️

After booking a two-person apartment on Booking.com, we arrived at a spacious apartment that appeared clean at first glance. However, the oven was unusable and emitted a very strong odor, caked with grease, as were the range hood and refrigerator. The sofa bed mattresses were simply disgusting. A greasy remote control had bits of who-knows-what on it... (Photo attached to show the state of the room...) The shower was full of limescale, the toilet was dirty under the seat, and there was a large amount of dust on the headboard of the double bed. A trapdoor leading to the upper floor unfurled a dangerous metal staircase (a trapdoor that a staff member said was supposed to be sealed, but there was no indication or explanation given to the guest). The kitchen utensils, particularly the pans, were caked with grease, and the toaster was full of crumbs and hadn't been cleaned. After speaking with the staff this morning, a cleaning lady spoke to us condescendingly, asking why we had bothered to look at everything if there were only two of us in the apartment (referring to the dirty sofa bed). We hadn't taken the €15 bedding kit, and she told us that the mattresses would inevitably get dirty if everyone did the same... The owner has been unreachable since last night and was absent this morning. The very pleasant housekeeping manager, who understood our dissatisfaction, offered us a goodwill gesture and a partial refund. In short, overall, a hotel located in the center of Bourg-Madame, but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The rate is €66 per night, rising to €81 with the bedding kit. We didn't expect accommodation that was practically unsanitary.

Dreadful. Carpark flooded. Badly signed bays. Badly lit. Lift faulty. Room smelt bad. Bed uncomfortable no linen no towels floor sticky in kitchen. World's most temperamental coffee machine and worst ever coffee when it did work. Utensils dirty. Pots pans also had to be cleaned before use. Really poor overall nobody cares about this place and it shows. Perhaps the worst place we've ever stayed in over 200 booking.com venues.
