Apple Economy Hotel

Great hotel!

SCAM DO NOT STAY HERE This was 100% the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The whole time we were there, there was zero reception staff and no one present. Even to pay for our booking and check in, we were texted to just "tap the card reader and take a key"- anyone could access any keys! The minute we went upstairs we were met with a family that clearly have a dodgy deal with the owners. They had their family running the corridors, doors propped open to multiple rooms and created a hostile environment from the moment we arrived. The whole family were screaming and shouting from room to room until late into the night. At 21:56, we contacted the owners via message asking to be moved or for some support and the only response was "quiet hours at after 22:00" (it wasn't). This family continued to let their children run up and down the corridors, they screamed and shouted and were SO loud constantly for hours into the early morning. It was at this point that we recognised these characteristics of the family from a previous booking.com review from December- clearly this group have moved in and taken over. The kitchen area was disgusting, dirty food everywhere, broken appliances and children's toys littering the floor. The bathroom was dirty and there was dirty laundry everywhere on the entire floor. The room itself was a box the size of the bed only, stank of cigarettes and the sheets and towels were old and disintegrated. In case you're wondering, we did eventually break at 2am and firmly go out and speak to the family and demand they be quiet to which they did slightly comply by moving their screaming from the corridor outside our room to inside their rooms...if only the walls weren't paper thin, this might have made a difference. Honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. We didn't bother staying for breakfast as we saw a pile of half cooked sausages on the side the night before and assumed from other reviews that we wouldn't be in for a hearty meal. The level of disinterest in our stay was horrific and I'd pay to not stay there next time. Do not stay here- even if you're desperate.

This hostel destroyed whole load of my clothes at once - it's a lot of money. Laundry machine, that I paid 5€ to use and still had to buy a detergent in a supermarket, is I guess used to clean dirty rags. Everything smelled terribly and was few shades darker than before. When I complained, owner told me that probably i had cigarette butts in my pockets [sic] and I don't even smoke. Interiors not pleasing. Breakfast - traumatizing experience - "cereals", sponge bread, literally one kind of low quality sausage and some jam was everything available to eat plus coffee of unknown quality, because I don't drink. Everything served in a dungeon with no windows, that you get to passing some renovation debris storage. Dungeon interior design seems to be whatever was available for free. This place is an insult to hospitality industry and shame for the town.
