However, I am extremely disappointed with the current service quality and management of the Alalia Green City Hotel. When the hotel first opened, its overall operation was smooth, and its service standards were excellent. However, the hotel's management and service quality have now seriously declined, and the situation continues to deteriorate. On March 12, 2026, I hosted a 32-member tour group from Taiwan. Before the group's arrival, I specifically called the hotel to request a thorough inspection of all guest rooms before check-in to ensure there were no abnormalities. However, after check-in, the guests in room 107 reported that the tap water in the bathroom was yellow and cloudy. This is completely unacceptable for a high-end hotel. I immediately requested a room change. After 20 minutes, the guests were moved to room 117, but that room also had the same problem of yellow and cloudy tap water. In addition, several guests reported several missing basic amenities: - Towels were not provided in some rooms. - Slippers were missing. - Shampoo bottles in a few rooms were broken. These items are all basic service standards that any hotel should maintain. Another serious oversight occurred on March 13, 2026. A guest was celebrating their birthday that day. I had informed the hotel lobby staff in advance and arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered to their room at 6:00 AM that morning. Hotel staff also promised to cooperate. However, the hotel did not deliver the cake to the room as agreed, nor did they notify me or the guest beforehand, instead sending the cake to the restaurant. The guest waited in the room for a long time for the cake, causing great embarrassment and disappointment, severely impacting their stay. Furthermore, I observed a person who appeared to be a senior hotel executive sitting at a table in the lobby, behaving like a hotel manager, yet failing to proactively offer any service assistance or address any issues that arose within the hotel. Such service standards are not only extremely disappointing but utterly unacceptable, especially for an operator that prides itself on being a high-end hotel; it represents a serious dereliction of duty. I sincerely urge the management of the Alarilia Green City Hotel to immediately strengthen service standards, improve room maintenance quality, and ensure employee accountability and training. These poor accommodation experiences have severely damaged the reputation of Sri Lanka's overall tourism industry, and I earnestly request a swift and comprehensive improvement.

I immediately requested a room change. After 20 minutes of wasted time, the guest was moved to Room 117, but unfortunately that room had the same problem.
