Several stays at the Aregai Marina Hotel and always satisfied! The welcome is fantastic, especially with staff who speak French ;) The parking is secure and, by swiping your access card at the hotel before leaving, it's completely free! The rooms are spacious, studio-style with a kitchenette, and the setting is quiet and relaxing. Some rooms have a small, peaceful terrace. In short, a top hotel near the Italian border!

Unfortunately, I can only agree with the many negative reviews. My family and I stayed at this hotel with a bus tour group at the end of May 2025. What the hotel had to offer was truly unique: 1. Unfriendly, demotivated staff 2. Unclean, very noisy rooms; although very large, they were sparsely and carelessly furnished 3. The four-course menu was abysmal and partly inedible, never including salad. The breakfast buffet also left much to be desired. 4. After dinner, there was practically no opportunity to get anything to drink or anything similar. 5. The location right on the beach sounds promising, but it's deceptive... the harbor is right next to the hotel... and the hotel is completely isolated... 6. The grounds were a complete construction site, with the occasional pile of dog poop... truly very inviting. Finally, I'd like to mention that we noticed the hotel apparently has two dining rooms... As a bus tour group, we were treated like second-class guests and served our meals in the ground-floor dining room, while other guests ate in a different dining room on the first floor. I can only strongly advise against this hotel; I've never experienced anything like it in any other hotel before!!!! I was all the more appalled that the bus tour company we booked with them offered this hotel again in their program the following year, even though many in our group were also very upset about the hotel!!!!
