Arrecife Dos Corais Hotel

Worst experience I've ever had in terms of accommodation. My 2026 Carnival will go down in history as the worst I've ever lived. I went with my family, I booked three apartments, one luxury and two standard. The luxury one was for my mother and my sister who uses a wheelchair. The first one they were put in had many mosquitoes and a horrible moldy smell. They moved to a second one: broken air conditioning, the bathroom had a horrible urine odor, and was also moldy. The third one (all this on the same day) was moldy, but they had to put up with it to spend the night. In all the rooms: better furniture, dirt, mold on the curtains, visibly dirty bathrooms, old, stained, dirty sheets and towels. In the standard rooms, dirt, mold and urine odor, old furniture, bathrooms with broken faucets and very dirty. Dirty pool, bad food, the package included "breakfast and supper". At supper, we weren't entitled to juice or coffee... We only found out when we went to dinner. At night, after 10 PM, the hotel turns off all the lights in the common areas, leaving us in the dark. We only spent one night out of the three days (Carnival package). We were reimbursed, but we still paid for one night. Managing a hotel, or anything else, requires competence. That no longer exists at this establishment. I went in 2019 and had a very good experience, which is why I returned. And unfortunately, I didn't see the most recent guest reviews. Disruption, disappointment, humiliation of having to ask to change rooms for something better, having to cancel plans at the last minute—we were very sad above all. I hope they close their doors.

I loved everything about this place! Location, breakfast, pool, room (even the simplest room is wonderful)... I plan to return soon!

I recommend this beach at low tide. It's an absolutely beautiful place.
