This is the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Most reviews are 5 stars? My experience makes me seriously doubt that. The noise level was completely unacceptable. There was zero soundproofing. I could hear everything through the very thin walls from the neighboring room, including conversations and even phone vibration sounds. In addition, the hotel is located directly above a subway line, and every 5 minutes there was loud noise and strong vibration coming from below. The noise was constant and made it impossible to sleep or properly rest. Because of this, I was forced to check out early on the first day. I raised these concerns with the manager, but there was no meaningful response or willingness to offer even a partial refund. In addition to the severe noise issues, the surrounding area includes multiple adult-oriented shops, which may not be suitable or comfortable for all travelers. Based on my experience, the positive reviews were very misleading. My stay was nothing like what was described online. Despite informing the property about these serious issues, no resolution or refund was provided, which only added to the frustration. If you decide to stay here, be aware that noise may be a serious issue, especially if you are sensitive to sound.

A lovely hotel in a great location for both Montmartre and the central Paris area. There are a couple of metro stations within 2 minutes walk but you can walk to most of the touristy areas if you fancy the stroll. The hotel staff were lovely and provided us with directions and info to get us to a few places of interest. The breakfast was amazing and the original hotel lift was a great quirk to the hotel (not in use - there was a modern one too 😊) We would highly recommend and stay again.
