4 words: central, friendly, clean, tasty. The public space is cozy (wood burning stove in winter) and a nice refuge when the weather gets unfriendly.

Quirky rooms and hotel, lovely food and drink options and opportunities. Brilliant location. But be warned if you sleep light not in any fault of the hotel the road outside can be noisy after hours from local pubs and general goings on. If I get a chance to return would maybe look for room away from room or higher in building. But other than that brilliant place. 😊👍

Artist Residence is one of those rare places that feels like a home away from home; it’s creative, cosy and quietly full of soul. It’s beautifully curated without ever feeling pretentious, with art and texture everywhere you look. The staff are genuinely welcoming and the whole space has that easy, lived in warmth that makes you want to linger over drinks and good conversation with friends.
