Extremely Disappointing Experience at Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo! My recent stay at Ascott Marunouchi Tokyo was deeply disappointing and unacceptable for a property positioned at this level. For five consecutive days, I had to repeatedly request towel replacements. On two separate days, I had to call twice because the staff simply forgot. This is basic housekeeping service — not a special request. Guests should not need to chase hotel staff daily for routine room maintenance. The situation became significantly worse when we sent a sweater for dry cleaning through the hotel service. The garment was damaged because the third-party vendor mistakenly put it through a drying process that it clearly should not have undergone. The hotel acknowledged the mistake, yet when I asked about compensation, nothing was offered. It is extremely troubling for a hotel to admit operational fault and still refuse to compensate a guest for damaged personal property. That reflects poorly not only on the hotel management but also on its parent company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (CLI), and the broader Ascott lodging brand. Service failures can happen anywhere — what truly defines a premium hospitality brand is how they take responsibility and resolve them. Unfortunately, in this case, there was no meaningful accountability. Very disappointing experience overall as I was actually referred by management from CLI to stay at their Ascott Tokyo hotel. I do not recommend anyone to stay at this particular hotel of Ascott at all.

I chose this hotel as a treat to treat myself to a special New Year's holiday spent alone. Luxurious yet simple, The room was more than spacious enough, and I had a very relaxing time. I'd love to stay here again. Reception is on the 22nd floor. High-speed elevator available. I got Moët & Champagne as a complimentary service. *Stayed through HAFH
