This hotel has a fantastic location, directly connected to the MRT (just two stops away), and there's a pedestrian walkway leading directly to Big C, so it's completely shaded from the sun. It's only one stop from Siam Square and seven stops from Chatuchak Market, both very convenient. Although it's an older hotel and the facilities might not be the most modern, the rooms are spacious and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again next time.

We chose Asia Hotel Bangkok mainly because of its very convenient location, and it did not disappoint. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is directly connected to the Bangkok BTS Skytrain via the Ratchathewi BTS Station, which makes traveling around the city extremely easy. You can simply walk through the connected passage and access the train without even stepping outside, which is especially helpful during Bangkok’s hot weather or sudden rain. The lobby is quite elegant and unique, highlighted by its low-hanging chandelier crystals that create a classic and luxurious atmosphere. Right after the entrance, there are several comfortable chairs and sofas, which are useful if you need to wait for check-in, meet someone, or simply rest after a long trip. When we arrived later in the evening, the check-in process was smooth and quick since there was no long queue. The hotel requires a cash security deposit, so if you are coming straight from the airport, it’s best to make sure you already have Thai baht with you because they do not accept cards or other currencies for the deposit. The front desk staff were able to communicate well in English, which made the process easy. Another convenient feature is the multiple elevators servicing the building, so getting to your floor doesn’t take too long even during busy hours. Each floor also has a small service counter for guest inquiries and requests, which is quite helpful if you need assistance without going back down to the main lobby. The hallways are wide and easy to navigate, even when you’re bringing large luggage. While you can tell that the hotel has been around for quite some time, the maintenance is still good and the structure feels solid. One of the biggest highlights of the hotel is the room size. The rooms are very spacious, especially considering the affordable price. The bathroom is also large and includes a bathtub, which is great for relaxing after a long day of exploring Bangkok. The cabinets and storage spaces are huge, making it easy to organize your belongings during your stay. The room also comes with a mini fridge and television, though most channels are Thai. The bed is large and very comfortable, and there is plenty of surrounding space where you can open multiple suitcases without feeling cramped. Lighting in the room is good and can be conveniently controlled through a touch panel near the bedside. The air conditioning works well, which is very important in Bangkok’s humid weather. There is also a small seating area with a chair and table near the window, which makes it comfortable if you want to eat takeout food or simply relax while enjoying the decent city view outside. Vanity desk with mirror and chair is also available in a corner which is really a plus. The hotel is close to shopping malls, restaurants, convenience stores, and street food areas, making it easy to find meals or essentials nearby. Despite being in a busy part of the city, the rooms remain relatively quiet and comfortable for resting. Overall, Asia Hotel Bangkok offers excellent value for money. While it may have an older style compared to newer hotels, the location, spacious rooms, and convenience of direct BTS access make it a very practical and comfortable place to stay in Bangkok.

This hotel has a very good breakfast and a very central location. The rooms are old but clean. I recommend it because it has direct access to the Ratchathewi BTS station and is very close to the MBK shopping center. There's also a 7-Eleven and several ATMs on the street.
