I booked a room and upon arrival they gave me another, claiming it was the same type, a superior room with a terrace and large windows overlooking the castle. The photos on the website are misleading; they show the superior rooms with terraces as all having large windows, but then they give you room 806, which has no windows and only a small French window leading to the terrace. Obviously, they thought they were pulling my leg, but after hours of stress and anguish, they admitted that the superior room had nothing at all! I was refunded. The room is very, very dated. The towel rack in the bathroom collapsed, and the shower is narrow and dark. The French window leading to the terrace has no external handle, so if you step out and it closes, you could freeze to death. Absurd and dangerous. The breakfast was worthy of Lidl's bakery. I didn't try the savory portion, but the sweet portion, and aside from the fruit and one type of biscuit, it was subpar. At the reception I had to deal with a very bitter person, the worst of whom could be found. In fact, I then called the manager, who, from her lofty position (ironic), had to agree with me. The cleanliness is acceptable. The location is excellent, but there are plenty of better hotels in the area, true 4-star hotels. In short, choose something else; trust me, it's not worth it. P.S. If you book with a certain Tereza, make sure she clearly understands what you want, because she varies the type and number of rooms.
