I stayed here for a study tour of the Tokamachi shopping district. The breakfast buffet was delicious and very satisfying. However, since there's only an hour, it's best to eat quickly. The large public bath has a sauna and löyly (steam). There's also a relaxation area, which is fantastic. Towels, water, and roasted green tea are provided, so you can use the sauna empty-handed. The soprano concert at 8:30pm was also great. I would like to go again.

The hospitality, service, cleanliness, and amenities were impeccable, and the food, above all, was beyond my expectations and completely captivated me. The buffet (Viking) was of such incredible quality, and it was hard to choose between Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine. With a pool and sauna, it's perfect for families with children. The nearby Toma ski slope was also empty, which was great (though it's only open on weekends). If you're looking for a family-friendly hotel in Echigo Yuzawa, this is the place to be.

I stayed one night in a family room in the main building with my wife, daughter, and 3-year-old grandson on a weekday in March. The weather wasn't great, so instead of playing in the snow, we played in the indoor pool. The kids' room was also perfect for our grandson to play in. We had a buffet-style meal at the restaurant in the annex for dinner and breakfast, and the menu was extensive and everything was delicious, so we were very satisfied. The hot spring on the second floor of the main building was also spacious, so we were able to relax in it. The staff were very polite and kind to our children, so I'd like to come back with my grandson again.
