Rude service, room not worth the price, food like in a communal restaurant, bad view of buildings, located on a slippery slope. Waste your money in nothing better than come here .

I booked three nights by phone at the Hôtel Vieux Koba, from December 29, 2025 to January 1, 2026, for a family of six (2 adults and 4 children). On the day of my arrival, I received a call from your establishment asking if I confirmed my reservation. I replied yes. Then, while driving from Oran to Algiers, I called the hotel again to inform them that I was en route and would arrive around 6:00 PM. The receptionist confirmed that everything was in order. Upon my arrival at the hotel around 7:00 PM, accompanied by my luggage and my family, including a young daughter and a child with a disability, the receptionist informed me that my reservation was not confirmed and had been canceled. I expressed my dissatisfaction because three days before my arrival, I had offered to make a bank transfer to guarantee the reservation, and I was told it wasn't necessary. Furthermore, on the day of my arrival, I called twice to confirm my reservation. Despite this, I was told upon arrival that the reservation wasn't guaranteed, which I found unacceptable. The receptionist accused me of raising my voice and claimed I had been disrespectful, even going so far as to call security. I simply insisted on getting the two rooms I had reserved. After about ten minutes, he came back to me and said that, "because of the children," he would finally give us two rooms. I told him to leave the children separate and give me the reserved rooms, as it was my right. Finally, after another exchange, he checked me in and apologized. So I ask you: is this how you treat customers? Where is the meaning of tourism and hospitality? The receptionist saw me and my family from the start, in the middle of winter, at night, when there were rooms available, and yet he acted this way. I consider this situation completely unacceptable and contrary to the principles of hotel hospitality. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and that the necessary measures will be taken to prevent such an incident from happening again in the future.
