Baan Chao Khun Hotel

First of all, it's a clean hotel. It has a perfectly clean pool with special saltwater that doesn't sting the eyes, except for a few flowers or leaves that have fallen from the trees. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are markets, shopping areas, and street food nearby, even within walking distance of the hotel, such as BigC, Lotus, KFC, Pizza Hut, and 7Eleven. I stayed for about a week, and every time I left a note on my door saying "please clean my room," I always found it clean when I returned. The air conditioning, elevator, and Wi-Fi all worked perfectly. They provided prayer mats for Muslim guests and information about the direction of the Qibla in the room. There was 24-hour hot water. It's a hotel I would choose again if I were to return. It's reasonably priced, and you can stay here with peace of mind. Thank you everyone.

They charged me 100 baht because there was a bloodstain the size of a drop of water on the sheet. They'd never done that to me before. I told them I should have slept on the floor if I'd known 😡😡

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now for about 1–2 weeks each visit, and it’s been a great experience every time. It’s located in the suburbs of Bangkok, but getting into the city center is super easy. There are plenty of affordable local places to eat nearby — definitely cheaper than downtown and 7-Eleven and Big C food place is also within walking distance, so you’ll always have everything you need. The hotel is very convenient for travelers since it’s only about 15 km from the airport. I recommend grabbing a taxi from the lower floor at the airport and choosing the short-distance lane — it usually costs around 100–150 THB. The ride to the hotel is quick, about 18–19 minutes. You can also take a taxi or Grab from the hotel to Lat Krabang Airport Rail Link Station, which is only about 15 minutes away. From there, it’s a smooth ride into the city 26 minutes to Phaya Thai to connect with the BTS, or about 21–24 minutes to Makkasan for the MRT. Transportation really isn’t difficult at all. One thing to note: people in this area don’t speak much English, which makes sense because it’s not a tourist zone. You can always ask the reception staff at the hotel if you need anything — I’m sure they’ll be happy to help you out. Overall, this is a solid option if you’re traveling on a budget and don’t mind staying slightly outside the city center. Comfortable stay, easy access to transportation, and great value for money. I would happily come back again! P.S. I booked room with a balcony and a city view it can be a bit noisy sometimes because of motorbikes passing by. Still totally okay for travelers like me who are used to being on the move.
