Our stay at the Backstage Vernissage Hotel in Zermatt was a great success overall. We had a room with a view of the Matterhorn, which was definitely a highlight. The room was very clean and well-maintained. The staff deserves special mention – very young, attentive, and exceptionally friendly. Our requests were always accommodated, which made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast buffet is rather small, but of very high quality. There are hot options such as bacon and scrambled eggs, a wide selection of fruits, and cereals. In addition, you can order various items from the menu, such as protein bread or French toast. The hotel has two restaurants: an upscale fine-food restaurant and another restaurant with a bar area and a very pleasant atmosphere. The bar and the varied program of shows also contribute to a special experience. The spa and wellness area is exceptionally designed and very stylish. The themed rooms are creatively presented, and facilities such as the Jacuzzi, saunas, and pearl bath invite you to relax. The only minor criticism was that the lighting in the room flickered occasionally and didn't seem to be working perfectly. Apart from that, however, we had a very pleasant stay.

Our stay at the Backstage Hotel Zermatt was simply unforgettable and truly special in every way. We received an incredibly warm welcome upon arrival – the friendly staff even picked us up from the train station and brought us back again upon departure. This service alone demonstrates the attentiveness and guest-oriented approach of the staff. The hotel is furnished with such attention to detail – modern, stylish, and with a very special, artistic flair. Every room is a true design highlight. You immediately notice the emphasis placed on creating a welcoming atmosphere. We particularly loved the cozy yet unique design of the rooms. An absolute highlight was the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. Waking up in the morning with this impressive mountain panorama right before our eyes was simply magical. The spa was also fantastic – a perfect oasis of well-being after a day in the mountains. Everything was clean, stylishly designed, and very relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind and let your mind wander. A particularly delightful surprise was the lovingly presented Matterhorn welcome chocolate – such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more personal. We felt completely at ease and can wholeheartedly recommend the Backstage Hotel in Zermatt. We will definitely be back!
